Deep beneath the mountain, the mine carts lie silent, the tunnels gather dust, and something ancient stirs behind the sealed doors. When Oz, Drusilia, Barakas, Pixie, and Forszmak venture into the depths, they discover that this is no ordinary mining expedition. An iron golem has awakened — and someone may have paid to bring it to life.
⚔️ Oz stands his ground against a crushing iron fist. Barakas unleashes furnace-bright magic, Drusilia listens to the restless earth, Forszmak guards the way, and Pixie discovers clues that lead to a mystery far deeper than the mine itself.
🔥 The golem falls, the miners return to work, and the accounts are settled. But strange markings remain by the old sealed door. A vanished token, a druid’s thorn, a scrap of blue thread… Someone set this guardian in motion, and someone still claims ownership of what lies below.
🎵 The Mine Has a Pulse is an original fantasy song inspired by our Dungeons & Dragons campaign, featuring magical mayhem, an iron guardian, a close-knit adventuring party, and a mystery that refuses to stay buried.
The mine is open again. The carts are rolling. But deep underground, one small red ember still burns…
⛏️ Who called the iron, and what debt was paid?

Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Down where the mine carts sleep in dust,
Oz led the way with a battered grin.
Drusilia read the roots in stone,
While Pixie slipped through a broken pin.
Barakas kept one hand alight,
Forszmak moved like a measured flame;
Then iron woke in the deepest shaft,
A golem rose without a name.
[Chorus]
Raise up the beams, let the hammers ring,
The mine has a pulse, the crews can sing.
Oz stood fast when the great hand fell,
And fortune turned on a fumbled spell.
Barakas burned through the ancient frame—
But who called the iron, and who spoke its name?
[Verse 2]
The fist came down to flatten Oz;
A clumsy strike struck empty air.
The halfling laughed, the dust rolled back,
And sparks ran wild through the tunnel there.
Barakas cast a furnace-bright fire,
The stone heart cracked, the hot seams shone.
Drusilia soothed the shaken earth,
Forszmak guarded the road back home.
[Chorus]
Raise up the beams, let the hammers ring,
The mine has a pulse, the crews can sing.
Oz stood fast when the great hand fell,
And fortune turned on a fumbled spell.
Barakas burned through the ancient frame—
But who called the iron, and who spoke its name?
[Bridge]
The company’s books were balanced anew,
The lamps were lit, the shift bells cried.
Pixie found fresh marks by the old sealed door—
A neat little tally no pick had pried.
One vanished token, a druid’s thorn,
A scrap of blue thread, a monk’s old sign.
Someone had paid for a guardian’s waking;
Someone still owns the deeper mine.
[Final Chorus]
Raise up the beams, let the hammers ring,
The mine has a pulse, the crews can sing.
Oz stood fast when the great hand fell,
And fortune turned on a fumbled spell.
Barakas burned through the ancient frame—
The crews came back, but the question stayed:
Who called the iron, and what debt was paid?
[Outro]
At dawn the carts rolled out once more.
Below, one small red ember burned.
