Santa Fe 2926 Main Line Run By's

On the final two weekends of October Santa Fe 4-8-4 Northern locomotive 2926 took part in a special photo charter hosted by Lerro Photography. Shot on Friday October 23rd and Saturday October 24th We'll see 2926 emerging out of the New Mexico Heritage Rail facility and back down the old Santa Fe mainline to the Albuquerque rail yards. Then on Saturday we'll watch 2926 and its short train consist perform a series on run-bys on the main line just north of the NM Rail Runner station at Isleta Pueblo. Despite the on and off rainfall in the morning and the gusty winds, 2926 put on an excellent performance running on home rails.
