We Got Rained Out Running Sound at a High School Graduation. (Gig Vlog)

There are a lot of beautiful places to graduate, but we honestly think Manitou Springs High School might be one of the best. Nestled between red rock formations with Pikes Peak rising in the background, this football field feels like something straight out of 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨... only with Colorado's mountain scenery making it even better. Every year we're reminded just how lucky we are to help produce this ceremony, and this year was no different. Come behind the scenes with Eddy Sound as we build the sound system for one of our favorite graduations of the year. You'll see how we deploy a fully self-powered audio system using Martin Audio loudspeakers, Honda whisper quiet generators, EcoFlow battery stations, and a Lectrosonics wireless audio link to tie into the press box system. It's a simple setup compared to some of our larger productions, but it's a great example of building a reliable outdoor sound system in a location where flexibility is everything. Of course... this is Colorado. That means watching the weather all day, securing equipment against the wind, and hoping the rain holds off just long enough to finish the ceremony. (Spoiler: the timing was almost perfect.)
