GM A Body gets new budget rear shocks, front brake jumper hoses and wheel cylinders. After reassembling the drum brakes, I’ll show how I set the front wheel-bearing preload and properly adjust the brake shoes. The brake-shoe adjustment is an important part of the job that can easily be done incorrectly, so I show the process I use rather than just putting everything back together and moving on.
