K1 Speed-Nashville 9-13-26 Adult Challenge GP League Race-A Main WIN.

September 13, 2026. Adult Challenge GP League Race-A Main. Kart #30. Started 2nd. Fastest lap for myself was 26.406 on Lap 7. Drew a very fast kart that was fun drive throughout the race. Was able to close in on the leader multiple times in the first few laps before eventually making contact on Lap 6 in turn three. This lead to the leader then taking a wide exit out of turn four that allowed me to along side and eventually take the position on the exit of 7/8. The contact that I initiated was mostly avoidable, and disappointing, since I still likely had time to set up a clean pass at some point due to the kart being a lot quicker. The speed of the kart showed in the open track as I was able to pull away fairly quickly. Glad that the other driver was able to finish second. Obviously a great result to be able to get my third win of the season. Just wish the contact hadn't happened.
