An hour of slow Chicago blues for late nights — electric guitar, harmonica and Hammond organ, played slow and heavy, the way it sounded in the back rooms of the West Side. It's raining under the El. The last train rattles somewhere overhead, steam rises from the grate, and a man in a long coat stands under the only working streetlight, playing a harmonica he's had longer than most of his friends. A black sedan rolls past, slow, headlights cutting through the rain. He doesn't look up. He doesn't argue. He doesn't announce. He settles the tab, pays in cash, and leaves the story for someone else to tell. Pour something, dim the lights and let it play — for late drives, long nights, quiet work and decisions made in silence. If this kept you company tonight, leave a word in the comments. One word is enough. ▶ New volumes three nights a week:    / @gentlemendontexplain   #chicagoblues #slowblues #gentlemanblues
