Annapurna I North Base Camp – October 2023 🇳🇵🏔️ This journey takes us to Annapurna I North Base Camp, one of the most dramatic and remote sides of the Annapurna massif in Nepal. When we made this trek in October 2023, the trail was still remarkably quiet. There were very few trekkers, no crowds, and long stretches where it felt like we had the entire valley to ourselves. Compared with how much attention this route receives today, this trip captured a very different side of Annapurna — raw, peaceful and largely untouched. The route leads through deep Himalayan valleys, rugged terrain and glacial landscapes before reaching the spectacular northern side of Annapurna I (8,091 m). The turquoise glacial lake, enormous mountain walls and isolated surroundings made this one of our most memorable journeys in Nepal.
