Conflict is something we all face in our families, friendships, marriages, workplaces, and even in the church. But today we were reminded that while conflict is inevitable, division is not. As followers of Christ, we are called to be peacemakers, handling disagreements with love, humility, and wisdom rather than anger or pride. Pastor Femi encouraged us to address conflict the way Jesus taught: speak directly to the person involved, seek restoration instead of victory, and always communicate with grace. When we choose patience, kindness, gentleness, and self-control, we allow the Holy Spirit—not our emotions—to lead the conversation. We were also challenged to receive correction with humility. Instead of making excuses or hiding our faults, God calls us to confess, repent, and make things right. Sometimes the greatest win isn’t proving we’re right—it’s preserving relationships and reflecting the heart of Christ. The message ended with a powerful reminder that every believer has been given the ministry of reconciliation. Just as Jesus reconciled us to God, we are called to bring healing, forgiveness, and peace wherever we go.
