What would a world that truly cared for women look like? I've been thinking a lot about patriarchy, matriarchy, and what it would mean to build a society that actually supports women's bodies. A world where women have reproductive choice, understand their menstrual cycles, are supported through pregnancy and birth, and receive the care they deserve postpartum. A world where these things aren't privileges, but the standard. And a world where male attention isn't the currency of our lives. In this video, I'm sharing my vision of what a matriarchy could look like, why I believe the welfare of mothers and children should be central to our society, and why dismantling patriarchy doesn't mean oppressing men. You don't have to want children to care about this work. We all came from a mother. I'd love to hear your thoughts. What could a matriarchy look like to you? And what would it take to build a society that genuinely cares for women? Let's have a thoughtful conversation in the comments. ❤️ In this video: 00:00 The world I want to live in 00:49 Menstrual literacy and living in our bodies 01:16 Pregnancy, birth and postpartum care 02:51 Why I recognise my privilege 03:55 These should be standards, not privileges 05:27 My anti-patriarchy video and the comments 07:34 Male attention shouldn't be our currency 08:51 Building a world that serves women's bodies 10:16 You don't have to want children to care 11:07 What matriarchy means to me 12:20 Decentring men vs deconstructing patriarchy 13:17 It takes a village 13:56 About me and this channel 14:40 Let's have a thoughtful conversation
