🍷 ΤΟ ΣΥΜΠΟΣΙΟ ΤΩΝ ΝΕΚΡΩΝ | Bored Skull Fifth in the Bored Skull Greek Gods Series, we leave Olympus behind and descend somewhere darker. Το Συμπόσιο των Νεκρών The Banquet of the Dead Tonight, the tables are set in the halls of Hades. The wine is poured. The torches burn low. And the guests have been dead for centuries. In ancient Greek mythology, the Underworld was ruled by Hades and Persephone, a shadowed kingdom reached only after crossing the boundary between life and death. Souls were traditionally associated with the ferryman Charon, while Cerberus, the monstrous hound, guarded the gates. But this song imagines something stranger. A banquet beneath the earth where heroes, kings, sinners and forgotten souls gather together for one endless night. Perhaps Sisyphus has finally stopped pushing his stone. Perhaps Tantalus can almost reach the wine. Perhaps the shades of fallen warriors raise their cups while musicians play for an audience that no longer breathes. And somewhere at the head of the table sits Hades, silent and watchful, while Persephone wears the crown of the Underworld beside him. No one remembers who gave the invitation. No one remembers arriving. And nobody is entirely certain whether the doors will ever open again. 🍷 Greek Gods Series #5: ΤΟ ΣΥΜΠΟΣΙΟ ΤΩΝ ΝΕΚΡΩΝ 🎵 Original song: Bored Skull ✍️ Lyrics & creative direction: Bored Skull 🎼 AI-assisted music production 🎨 Artwork: Bored Skull Raise your glass.
