🗓 Date: 12/30/24 🛤 Line: FEC Main Line Subdivision ✭✭✭ This was my only catch on December 30th, 2024. After watching both the web cameras in Cocoa and Fort Lauderdale the day before, I was able to estimate the time it took a freight train to get from Cocoa to the Fort Lauderdale area, which is where I was staying. The next night, I decided to put this timing to the test with Train 105. Sure enough, the alignment had already been popped into the signal system when I arrived and within a half hour, 105 came flying through with the usual pair of ES44C4s and LNG tender. This crossing is as bog standard as it gets for the FEC mainline these days. Four gate masts, two for the roads and two pedestrian gates.
