Chapter 11: Rest, Recovery & Reimagining Home 🤎 This week was a little slower as I continued recovering from lung surgery and adjusting to being back home. I shared a couple of recovery updates, lots of rest, medications, catching up on some of my favorite shows, and slowly getting back into the rhythm of everyday life. As I started feeling a little better, I also started getting back to some of the things I love home, decor, and creating beautiful spaces. I ordered a new sideboard for our foyer, made a light trip to HomeSense for a few fall-inspired pieces, and finally switched out some of our darker kitchen accessories for warmer wooden pieces I’ve had tucked away since spring. We also made another trip to Crate & Barrel to pick up bowls to go with the dinnerware I’ve been slowly collecting. And, of course, there’s a little real estate mixed in. We stopped by our latest flip, Frank’s House, to drop off a few staging pieces and get everything ready for photos and listing day. It’s a quiet chapter… kinda… part recovery, part home refresh, part real estate, and a little glimpse of me slowly finding my way back to normal life.
