Serious Jungle Vibes, Beach Camping & Angry Birds of Oahu

We’re back on Oahu for another father-and-son adventure, and this one has it all, towering mountains, jungle trails, waterfalls, beach camping, wildlife, and some seriously angry birds. 🌴🌊 We hit the road with the massive mountains and ridges of Oahu surrounding us, while the coastline stretches alongside the road. The scenery makes the drive an adventure of its own. Then we head into Waimea Valley, hiking through the lush jungle toward a waterfall where we take a swim and cool off before continuing the journey. After the hike, we make our way to the beach, set up our tent, and spend the night by the ocean. Orion spends the afternoon playing and exploring on the beach while I get in a workout as the sun sets. We also spot some small creatures running through the grass that look almost like little ferrets. The next morning, Orion heads back out to the beach and takes on the waves, enjoying the ocean and everything that comes with being right on the water. After working up an appetite, we sit down to eat, and that's when the angry birds of Oahu show up. 🐔😂 Chickens and other birds gather around looking for food, and things get surprisingly competitive as they fight over their share.
