From Oahu’s Coastline to the Jungle | Dolphins, Snorkeling & Lulumahu Falls

Join us for a peaceful day of exploring Oahu, from the open water to the heart of the jungle. We start by driving to the port and boarding the boat, where Orion watches the coastline, listens to the engine come to life, and hopes we’ll find dolphins. Before long, dolphins appear, with the incredible mountains and coastline of Oahu creating the perfect backdrop. When the engine shuts down, it’s time to get in the water. Orion faces a new challenge as he learns to breathe through his mask and snorkel. We didn’t see any fish or turtles that day, but learning something new and overcoming a fear made the experience a win. Later, we head into the lush jungle on the trail to Lulumahu Falls. The trail is muddy, humid, and full of that unmistakable Oahu jungle atmosphere. Along the way, we cross an unusual bridge structure made from shipping containers before finally reaching the waterfall. A quiet day of ocean, mountains, jungle, and small victories.
