Bible in a Year Day 280

Bible in a Year Day 280 Mark 5:1-43 Matthew 8:28-34 Luke 8:26-56 Matthew 9:18-26 Jesus freed a man who was possessed by a legion of demons. Jesus allowed the demons to enter a herd of pigs nearby, and nearly 2000 pigs rushed into the sea and drowned. The people of the region pleaded with Jesus to go away. Matthew tells the story as there being 2 demon-possessed men instead of 1. Jairus, a synagogue official, asked Jesus to come to his home and lay hands on his dying daughter. Jesus was on his way, when a woman who had a hemorrhage for 12 years touched His robe. She was immediately healed. Jesus said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well.” Jairus’s daughter died while Jesus was on the way. He touched the girl's hand and she immediately got up. According to Matthew, the girl was already dead when Jairus approached Jesus. There are many mentions after these miraculous healings of Jesus instructing people not to tell anyone about it.
