Paris, France —Free visit to the Petit Palace

After our transatlantic and European cruise we spent a week in Paris. On the first video we shared our walk up to the second level of the Eiffel Tower. On this video we visited the Petit Palace on a rainy day. This gorgeous building is free to visit and has such a great collection of historic objects, paintings and sculptures! It is easy to spend a couple of hours here. Next day we attempted to visit Notre Dame Paris Cathedral but it was soooo busy. We plan to get tour tickets next time and avoid the large queue to enter. We did walk around the area and visited the large grounds of the Luxembourg Gardens. This is a lovely place to walk around and also take a rest. There were lots of people enjoying the day but somehow it is not overwhelming. On our last day, before we head to Saint Jean Pied de Port, we walked around our neighborhood and through Vincennes Park and Castle. It does not even matter what you do in Paris. Just being in this lovely city is a treat. Next, we start our second Camino de Santiago! We plan on walking for about 40 days with our backpacks from France to Santiago de Compostela!
