Back at my forest farm, I carefully prepare the papaya, remove the seeds, make the filling, and stuff each papaya before steaming it. While waiting for the dish to cook, I prepare a refreshing papaya salad and spend a peaceful afternoon playing with my dogs in the warm sunshine. As evening falls, I enjoy a simple homemade dinner featuring crispy pork and eggs stuffed in papaya, served with fresh papaya salad. Early the next morning, I head to the nearby village to sell my papaya. After returning to the farm, I share ripe bananas with my chickens and pigs. While feeding the chickens, I notice that many of their nesting boxes have become damaged, so I gather some wood and build stronger, sturdier nests to give my hens a better place to lay their eggs. Life on my forest farm is full of simple pleasures, hard work, and little discoveries every day.
