The main objectives of this march are to oppose the Chinese government’s implementation of the so-called Ethnic Unity and Progress Promotion Law in Tibet, and to commemorate the recent self-immolation of Mr. Lhoga Rangtsen, who sacrificed his life for the cause of Tibet. Through this peaceful initiative, he aims to raise awareness about the Tibetan cause and the situation inside Tibet. Having commenced his peace march in Ladakh, he is now continuing his journey from Kullu towards Dharamshala.
