84 Uppermill to Manchester | Bee Network | 4K Front View | Partial Route

Bee Network Route 84 from Uppermill towards Manchester Piccadilly Gardens, filmed from the upper-deck front window in 4K on Saturday 26 September 2026. This is a PARTIAL ROUTE recording. The journey begins in Uppermill and heads through the Saddleworth villages towards Oldham, before continuing along the Oldham Road corridor through Hollinwood, Failsworth and Newton Heath towards Manchester. Unfortunately, after a full morning of filming, the camera began overheating after Oldham. From that point the recording became intermittent, but I managed to revive it several times and recover further sections through Hollinwood, Failsworth and into Manchester. The camera eventually gave up completely around Newton Heath, so the final section through Miles Platting and Ancoats to Piccadilly Gardens was not recorded. The day produced three complete route recordings: 17 — Manchester → Rochdale 590 — Rochdale → Halifax 501 — Halifax → Huddersfield The fourth journey, the 184 from Huddersfield towards Oldham, was abandoned at Uppermill after the camera began struggling with the heat. The 84 then became the improvised final leg back towards Manchester. So the final score for the day: 3 full routes captured. 2 partial routes. Manchester → Rochdale → Calder Valley → Huddersfield → Colne Valley → Saddleworth → Manchester. And one thoroughly defeated camera.
