HKGK - Hier Kom Groot K..aap 2021 (Part 1)

In this video we Sling 2 Stellenbosch airport over 3 days with our friends Deon and Mari in their Cherokee 235. En-route we land and sleep over again at one of our favourite destinations, the Mattanu Private Game Reserve. We then Sling 2 Lambert's Bay airfield and sleep over at @TheBay Guest Villa. We then Sling 2 Stellenbosch airfield for our 2 night stay at the Krystal Beach Hotel in Gordon's Bay and 1 night at De Zalze Lodge, outside Stellenbosch. We do some reviews and share in-cockpit (mostly ATC) audio, some general aviation tidbits and some of our mistakes. (The reason for sharing mistakes is to show that although everyone tries their best, no one is perfect and not all single mistakes in aviation are fatal. Most fatal accidents are due to an accumulation of mistakes or oversights. Whenever I realize a mistake I take note of it and improve my procedures to try my utmost to prevent it from happening again. Hopefully this sharing of mistakes will inspire aspiring pilots to fly more and build experience, rather than being too afraid to make small mistakes and thus not flying.)
