Michelle Landry speaks on Cap Rescue recognising 30 years of answering the call 🚁

For three decades, the sound of a Cap Rescue helicopter has meant help is on the way for Central Queensland families. In Parliament, I paid tribute to the Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service and the people who keep Rescue 300 ready to respond, day and night, at no cost to patients. One of those patients was 15-year-old Ty, who suffered life-threatening injuries in a motorbike accident near Ogmore. Cap Rescue flew him to hospital when every minute mattered. After his recovery, Ty’s family raised funds to help the next family in need. That’s the spirit behind Cap Rescue: neighbours helping neighbours.
