THE HIGH PRIESTLY PRAYER

Today’s scripture is drawn from what is widely known as the High Priestly Prayer — the longest recorded prayer of Jesus in the Gospels (John 17:1–26). It affirms that faith is born through the Word, that the Church is a community of those called through testimony, and that the love of Christ knows no boundary of time, place, or generation.
