A shore dive at Freshwater on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, exploring the rocky reef, overhangs and gullies of this exposed local dive site. Freshwater is one of those Sydney sites that needs the weather and ocean conditions to line up — with calm seas essential for a comfortable entry, exit and dive. Fortunately, conditions came together for this one and rewarded us with a fantastic mix of marine life, including both a Southern Eagle Ray and Bull Ray.
