RNAS Yeovilton Action! Falcon 20, Learjet 60, Army & Navy Wildcats + Merlin HC4 & Tutors 05-Jun-26

A packed day of aviation at RNAS Yeovilton on May 5th, 2026! The weather was absolutely perfect, and the flight line was even better. ☀️ The day started fast with a Dassault Falcon 20 and a Learjet 60 working the circuit, providing some great fixed-wing passes. Things then shifted to the home-based rotary assets, with a heavy presence from both Army and Royal Navy AW159 Wildcats. Seeing the different variants operating side-by-side is always a highlight at Yeovilton! 🚁 We were also treated to the impressive sight of the Merlin HC3/4 heavy-lift helicopters performing training sorties, showing off their massive footprint in the sky. To round things off, the Grob 115E Tutors were busy throughout the day, keeping the patterns full with constant student pilot training.
