Hiking Pontresina, Muottas Muragl and Alp Languard Panorama Loop, Switzerland | Full Hike POV

This silent, full-length POV video documents the 16.9 km (10.5 mi) Muottas Muragl to Alp Languard panorama loop in the Upper Engadine, Switzerland, completed entirely on foot without lift assistance. Starting and ending at the Languard chairlift station in Pontresina (1,846 m / 6,060 ft), the route features 814 m (2,670 ft) of elevation gain, reaching a high point of 2,451 m (8,040 ft) at Muottas Muragl. Recorded in June 2025, the video runtime matches the 4-hour 2-minute hike duration. Starting with a continuous ascent north out of Pontresina, the trail climbs switchbacks to the Muottas Muragl viewpoint at km 5.1 (3.2 mi). From there, the Panoramaweg descends into Val Muragl, crosses a wooden footbridge at km 7.0 (4.3 mi), and contours the Schafberg slope through stone pine forests and avalanche tunnels. Passing below the Unterer Schafberg hut at km 10.0 (6.2 mi), the path ascends to Alp Languard at km 12.6 (7.8 mi) at 2,316 m (7,600 ft) before dropping steeply west through forest back into Pontresina. Filmed in real time in 4K HDR with ambient hiking sounds and no music or commentary, this video provides a clear visual record of singletrack dirt surfaces, rock steps, gradient changes, and early-season snow patches in shaded gullies.
