Routine.co Review: Is This All-in-One Productivity Tool Worth It?

All-in-one productivity tools promise to simplify your life, but sometimes maintaining the tool becomes another project entirely. In this review, I’m testing Routine.co to see whether it successfully combines planning, task management, project organization, journaling, automation, and AI without becoming overwhelming. Routine offers a surprisingly generous free plan with tasks, calendars, customizable pages, projects, integrations, an AI assistant, and even a built-in journal. You can connect tools like Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, Gmail, Todoist, Microsoft To Do, and Zapier while keeping much of your planning in one place. However, some of Routine’s more advanced features are not immediately intuitive. Its AI assistant underestimated how much time my content creation process would take, and features like AI agents may require additional tutorials and setup before they become genuinely useful. So, is Routine.co the right productivity system for you? That depends on whether you need a flexible scheduling and organization tool or a more dedicated project management platform.
