Federal Signal Modulator 2008 | Attack/Wail | Spring Hill, TN (Williamson Co.Tornado Siren Test)

Originally Recorded 5/1/2021 © 2022 Brandon Mendel (Reuse allowed with permission) Last year I took a trip down to Tennessee to finally record this dual tone Modulator. It's likely the only one in the entire county and it does sound pretty nice. It's been on my record list since MusicCitySirens and I discovered this dual tone variant a couple years back (phew, time flies). You can find this siren at the Longview Recreation Center. I decided to film it from a distance from the neighboring school's parking lot. I kind of regret that since this siren is really not that loud, though it does provide a nice echo. Some of the drone footage also got corrupted so it's safe to say I'll probably be back sometime for a reshoot. Spring Hill resides in both Williamson and Maury Counties, but all the sirens are controlled by neighboring Williamson County's Emergency Management. Spring Hill's sirens are tested on the first Saturday of the month at 1PM. To my knowledge, Maury County has no county-wide siren system. Enjoy, and as always comment, like, and subscribe for more.
