Josese Is Back! 🇫🇯

Many fans have been wanting to try the Navuti kava since Josese raves about it in our youtube videos. The village men and boys have been hard at work harvesting, washing, drying, pounding and packaging kava for all the fans who are interested. We have opened a business called Yavusa Navuti and the primary objective for this business is to make it easier to find a market for the villagers of Moturiki Island and Ovalau Island to sell their kava. We have two kava products. The first one is YN Kava-Nasiriva. The Nasiriva kava is from our village (Navuti Village). The name Nasiriva comes from our old village where it was known as the village of strong warriors hence the name Nasiriva because the kava from our village is known in Moturiki Island as the strongest kava. The second is YN Kava-Veiwekani. The Veiwekani kava is from the other villages from Moturiki and Ovalau island. Veiwekani means family and we want to support other farmers from other villages too as they are our family as well. We understand many people would like to donate but we want our village to be able to contribute not only through their time and effort but financially as well. It will be a story to tell our future generation that we improved facilities in the village with the kava we sold to the people in Fiji and abroad. A percentage of the money that is earned will go back to the village and community to help improve facilities in the village like footpaths, school facilities, health facilities and religious facilities. The first project will be buying water storage drums for the village. Nasiriva Kava is $10 per bag bameti ($20 a pack of two). $4 from each pack purchased goes back to the village.
