A productive harvest begins long before the first seed enters the soil. In conflict-affected communities across Hong and Michika LGAs of Adamawa State, JDPI Maiduguri is supporting farmers as they prepare for the 2026 rainy season through the distribution of improved seeds, organic fertilizer, and knapsack sprayers, alongside training on Good Agronomic Practices. @ The support is provided under the ‪@BMZ‬-funded Multisectoral Strengthening of Resilience Project, implemented with support from ‪@caritasinternational‬ in Germany. By combining agricultural inputs with practical knowledge, the project aims to improve yields, strengthen livelihoods, enhance household food security, and build resilience among farming households recovering from the effects of conflict. Since 2023, the project has supported 6,500 farmers on their journey toward recovery, self-reliance, and long-term resilience. #JDPIMaiduguri #FoodSecurity #Livelihoods #Resilience #BMZ #CaritasGermany #Agriculture
