Whether you call it Lemon Delight, Heavenly Something, or Lemon Lush, one thing is for certain: that toasty pecan crust and those creamy, light layers are absolutely irresistible. In this video, I’ll show you my secrets for making this classic dessert "bakery-style," including: The Perfect Crust: How to mix and bake a toasty pecan base that holds up beautifully. Do you stick with lemon, or are you a fan of pistachio, chocolate, or butterscotch? 375) Lemon Lush 1st Layer Is Bottom Crust:  1 cup all-purpose flour  1/2 to 1 cup pecans, chopped  1/2 cup salted butter, room temperature Blend flour and butter until combined. Add pecans and press into a 2.75-quart baking dish or a 13”x9”x2" pan. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes, until edges are golden brown. Cool completely before adding 2nd layer. 2nd Layer:  8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature  1 cup powdered sugar  8 oz. whipped topping  1 lemon, zest is optional Mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Then, add 1 cup of whipped topping and mix well. Spread on the cooled crust. Zest your lemon over the cream cheese layer (reserve the zest for topping). Top Layer Is Pudding Layer:  2-3.4 oz. boxes lemon instant pudding mix  3 cups milk  A Lemon’s juice, optional Mix the pudding with milk. Add lemon juice and stir. Pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer, then top with the remaining whipped topping.
