Don’t Drive Past ST MALO! Our First Day Campervanning in France - BRITTANY Road Trip

Our French campervan adventure begins in St Malo after crossing from the UK by ferry. Is St Malo worth stopping at, or should you head straight into Brittany? Join us as we explore St Malo by campervan on the first day of our France road trip, discovering the historic old town, city walls, cathedral, harbour, beaches and fascinating history of this famous Brittany port. If you're planning a campervan trip to France from the UK, St Malo could be much more than simply the place where you arrive. We start our French campervan holiday just after getting off the ferry and use the park and ride to explore St Malo without moving our campervan. We walk around the historic walled city, see the rebuilt areas of St Malo, explore the harbour and enjoy a traditional French lunch before heading on towards Dinard. We also visit a French hypermarket for our first campervan food shop of the trip before arriving at our first French campsite, Camping du Port Blanc near Dinard.
