A 46-Year-Old Father Drove Home—Then One Shot Ended His Commute | Koran Irvine

Koran Irvine, a 46-year-old father of two and longtime Con Edison employee, was driving home across the George Washington Bridge when prosecutors say a near collision became a pursuit and a single fatal shot. This victim-centered true crime documentary examines the surveillance-led investigation, the arrest of retired NYPD detective Victor Romero, the change from a murder arrest announcement to a first-degree manslaughter arraignment charge, and the questions Koran’s family continues to ask. This video discusses allegations in an active criminal case. Victor Romero has been accused, not convicted, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. Koran was a husband, father, brother, neighbor and colleague. His family’s words remind us that this story is about far more than a charge—it is about the life and future taken from those who loved him. What do you believe the public still needs to know as the case moves forward? Please keep comments respectful and avoid declaring guilt before the evidence is tested.
