Sunyani Outer Ring Road Kum YaaRo Stream Filling and Compaction Works with Soil Density Testing 4K

Work is progressing at the Kumyaro Stream section of the Sunyani Outer Ring Road, where the contractor is filling the low-lying section to bring the road formation to the required level. Trucks are delivering gravelly fill material, which is spread across the section before being compacted using a Bomag compactor. The aim is to create a firm and uniform road formation, allowing vehicles to move smoothly across the stream crossing without a steep change in elevation. A soil-density testing team is also on site, checking the compacted material to ensure that the required level of compaction is achieved before construction proceeds to the next stage. The Kumyaro Stream section is an important part of the Sunyani Outer Ring Road, which will help improve movement around Sunyani and provide an alternative route for through traffic.
