Author of Time: psalm of lament 1

AUTHOR OF TIME — Psalm of Lament I What do you do when you've prayed, waited, and trusted God—but the answer still hasn't come? “Author of Time” is a song of lament about the struggle of waiting on God's timing when you cannot understand His purpose. It is a prayer from someone standing in the wilderness, watching others receive the things he longs for while wondering how much longer he must wait. He knows God has the power to change his circumstances, but he doesn't understand why God hasn't. And yet, through the darkness, one choice remains: To trust the Author of Time. This is the first song in a five-part story exploring faith, temptation, agency, spiritual warfare, and ultimately the peace found in Jesus Christ. The story begins with a question: How do you keep trusting God when you cannot see what He is doing?
