Mawlana Hazar Imam’s 3rd Didar in Gujarat took place in Gandhinagar during his historic India Visit 2026. Following his meeting with Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, Mawlana Hazar Imam granted the third Didar in Gujarat, where the Mukhi of Rajkot Headquarters Jamatkhana submitted Bay‘a on behalf of the Northern Saurashtra Jamat. The Jamat’s Tohfa represented a powerful commitment to live by Mawlana Hazar Imam’s guidance through service to others, care for the elderly, environmental protection, and continuing learning and education. After the Gujarat programme, Mawlana Hazar Imam travelled from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, where he was welcomed by Maharashtra government officials, Jamat leaders and other dignitaries. This historic India visit marks Mawlana Hazar Imam’s first official visit to India since becoming the 50th hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims. His India visit includes Gujarat, Mumbai and Hyderabad, with six Didar sessions planned across these locations.
