In Episode 4 of this Care for Caregivers Workshop series, Attorney David Kinskey speaks about the legal considerations and the need for estate planning, wills, trusts, and durable power of attorney for both finances and health care decisions for your beneficiaries. David shares about lessons learned as a former caregiver as well as someone who assists others to put their affairs in order. How do you decide who should handle your finances and how do you set that up? Can your family find important documents should something happen to you so that they can carry out your wishes? Curt Merriam, Sheridan VA Caregiver Support Program manager, answers questions about Veterans benefits and VA resources.
