Going Second Salamangreat OTK Deck (World Championship Qualifiers 2024) | Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

It's been a while since I uploaded and with the new Salamangreat support in Master Duel, I thought I'd come back to the game despite my busy schedule. I didn't originally plan to participate in the WCQ event but I thought it'd be nice to try out a going-second Salamangreat OTK deck, utilizing Violet Chimera (and also I lost more coin tosses anyway so I thought I'd just go second every time). I used this deck from DLv. 1 up to DLv. 19 and I only added a few changes to it during the grind. A few notes about the event: 1. Beat Bison is criminally underrated in Salads. It's a free special summon when you have 3 Salad monsters in GY (it's basically just Weasel). Its ability to return ANY fire Link monster and negate any face-up cards up to the number of monsters you returned is insane! It's a good extender and plays well around Nib and interruptions. 2. Fire Meta is alright imo. Salad is a fire deck so it plays decently well against the current meta. 3. Going second against Vaalmonica is an absolute nightmare. I don't know how to deal with that deck and it's basically Bagooska and Dweller turbo. I don't know why but I never draw into my board breakers whenever I go against Vaalmonica. 4. Branded and Labrynth are two matchups that I either win or lose (I still hate Labrynth). 5. The deck I encountered the most during my playthrough was Sky Strikers. Surprisingly, I never lost a duel against one. 6. I had a 17-winstreak up to DLv. 15. Try to guess what deck finally broke my winstreak xD Music Credits: DM Dokuro - Calamity OST [Decklist] Main Deck: 3x Maxx C 1x Salamangreat Meer 2x Salamangreat of Fire 3x Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring 1x Salamangreat Foxy 3x Salamangreat Gazelle 2x Salamangreat Spinny 1x Salamangreat Weasel 1x Code of Soul 3x Lady Debug 1x Salamangreat Jack Jaguar 1x Salamangreat Beat Bison 1x Nibiru, the Primal Being 1x Raigeki 1x Harpie's Feather Duster 1x Fusion of Fire 2x Cynet Mining 1x Lightning Storm 1x Triple Tactics Talent 1x Salamangreat Sanctuary 1x Will of the Salamangreat 2x Called by the Grave 3x Salamangreat Circle 1x Crossout Designator 2x Forbidden Droplet 1x Salamangreat Charge 2x Infinite Impermanence 2x Red Reboot Extra Deck: 1x Salamangreat Violet Chimera 1x Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Horse Prince 1x Salamangreat Miragestallio 2x Salamangreat Balelynx 2x Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf 1x Hiita the Fire Charmer, Ablaze 1x Proxy F Magician 1x Pitknight Earlie 1x Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames 2x Salamangreat Pyro Phoenix 2x Salamangreat Raging Phoenix Timestamps: 0:00 - Intro 0:37 - vs Bystial Control? 2:32 - vs Sky Strikers (Maxx C Challenge) 3:53 - vs Supreme King 6:03 - vs Sky Strikers 7:46 - vs Labrynth 10:02 - vs Resonators 12:18 - vs Mikanko 13:36 - vs Naturia 15:30 - vs Snake-Eyes Rescue-ACE 19:05 - vs Snake-Eyes (Epic Finale) 21:40 - Wins/Losses 21:54 - Decklist
