(Read Description) BMT Subway: R160A (J) train full ride from Broad St to Marcy Av.

This video was filmed on July 19th, 2026. Welcome back to the channel everyone. Today in this video, we have a full ride onboard an R160A-1 (J) train in car #8334 from Broad St to Marcy Av via Nassau St Local and Willamsburg Bridge. Due to structural improvements occurring that weekend, there was no (J) train service between Broadway Junction and Marcy Av in both directions, (J) trains were running in two sections. 1: Between Jamaica Ctr and Broadway Junction 2: Between Marcy Av and Broad St Free T433 shuttle buses would provide alternate service to stations along the (J) line that were closed between Marcy Av and Broadway Junction. Passengers who wanted direct train service between Brooklyn and Manhattan had to transfer to the (A), (C) or (L) trains at Broadway Junction while those who wanted direct train service to JFK Airport to/from Manhattan had to take the (A) train to/from Howard Beach-JFK or the (E) train to/from Sutphin Blvd-JFK. In addition to this, (M) train service was also suspeneded for the whole weekend with free T410 Shuttle buses providing alternate service between Middle Village-Metropolitan Av and Marcy Av while passengers who wanted direct train service to/from Manhattan on the (M) line had to transfer to the (L) train at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs. Now I want to point out that while there is a (J) to Marcy Av program from Jamaica Center, there is no (J) to Marcy Av program from Broad St so hence why the train is using the Broadway Junction program as seen here.
