Today, we celebrate the freedom, identity, and unity of our beloved nation, Uganda. As we commemorate 64 years of independence, we give thanks to Almighty God for His faithfulness, protection, and grace upon our country and its people. Uganda is more than a nation defined by its borders; it is a home of diverse cultures, gifted people, rich heritage, and shared dreams. Our strength lies in our unity, our progress in our collective responsibility, and our hope in a brighter future built on peace, integrity, love, and righteousness. As the Word of God declares in Psalm 33:12, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” May God continue to guide our leaders, protect our families, strengthen our communities, and establish peace throughout our land. May Uganda rise in wisdom, justice, prosperity, and unity, and may the generations to come inherit a nation filled with hope and opportunity. On this special day, let us remember that true independence is strengthened when we stand together, serve one another, and work towards the common good of our nation. The New Covenant Church of All Nations — Kampala, Uganda, wishes all Ugandans a blessed and joyful Independence Day. STRONGER TOGETHER FOR A BRIGHTER UGANDA! Happy Independence Day, Uganda!
