Transport Heritage Expo 2026 Day 1 (October 2026)

On Saturday the 3rd of October, we get coverage from Day 1 of the annual Transport Heritage Expo with steam locomotives 3526 and 3801 operating shuttles between Central and Hurstville with diesel locomotives 4916 and 4403 assisting. We also get some onboard footage from The Great Train Race. We also see Railmotors 621/721 which operated between Central and Hornsby and CPHs 1, 3 and 7 which operated between Central and Rhodes. We also go footage of S28 operating from Central to Lavender Bay via Redfern as well as diesel locomotives 42103 and 42105 operating from Central to Port Botany and return via Rhodes. In the evening, 3526 and 3801 did a doubleheader run from Central to Waterfall and return with 4916 assisting.
