Transport Heritage Expo Steam Transfers - 2026

Welcome to a Rail Town Productions film, in this film we are featuring: Transport Heritage NSW ran two separate steam transfers; on Thursday 1st October 2026 where 3801 "a legend of steam" was transferred ahead of the annual Transport Heritage Expo which is held over the long weekend. Where 3801 had to go to Eveleigh in a tender first formation; so it was correct way facing for its' Hurstville shuttles; the proceeding day (Friday 2nd October 2026); saw 3526 and 3265 making their way to Eveleigh with diesel locomotive 4916 was assisting them. At Enfield the steam locomotives split from the train to turn the locomotives for their needs at the Meeks Road Junction. As 3265 "Hunter" will be on cab displays and 3526 "Nanny" is rostered to its' own Hurstville shuttles with a diesel locomotive.
