Entering A NEW Continent For The First Time! ✈️🇨🇴

So finally, we start our journey from Philadelphia and move towards New York! Before catching our next flight, we stored our heavy bags at Bounce Luggage Storage so we wouldn't have to carry everything around—a quick hop-off and hop-on as we head toward our next destination. First stop: a flight out to the stunning Dominican Republic to touch down on a beautiful island! We didn't stay to do a full exploration this time, but we will definitely be back to explore more of this paradise later. From the island, we take off again and head straight to Medellín—one of the most vibrant, energetic, and happening cities in all of Colombia! Officially, this marks my very first South American trip, entering a whole new continent with fresh josh and high energy! Colombia offers visa-free entry for Indian passport holders with a valid US visa, making the process smooth as we entered safely. We made our way up into the beautiful Medellín hills and settled into our stay in the Sabaneta neighborhood. The Airbnb is an incredible two-bedroom apartment with an absolute killer view of the hills! A Quick Note on Medellín & Colombia: Nestled in the Aburrá Valley, Medellín is known as the "City of Eternal Spring" for its year-round pleasant climate. Sabaneta sits at the southern edge of the valley, blending peaceful, traditional Paisa charm with panoramic views of the modern skyline. It's vibrant, colorful, and rich in history.  Later in the day, I headed out to lunch after receiving an invitation from a lovely local Colombian girl. A quick safety tip for anyone traveling here: While Colombia is warm and welcoming, it's always smart to exercise caution and utmost care when meeting people, as there are many stories out there. Staying mindful, I met her at one of the finest restaurants I’ve ever seen—we enjoyed incredible traditional local dishes like authentic Paisa cuisine, had great conversations, and wrapped up a memorable first day!  This is just the beginning.
