Khenzemane/Kinzamani, Zemithanng valley. Holy tree/Gurusheng tree. After Chinese crackdown on Tibet Dalai Lama had to escape from his summer palace Norbulinka, Lhasa. He trekked 14days through the mountains and reached Indian border through Zemithanng on March 31 ,1959. Dalai Lama was walking with a wooden stick. When He rested at Khenzemane He pressed the stick into a rock on the ground and left it there before moving ahead.
