DAN ZEPPELIN, Dan Merlo Quartet's Free Jazz Explosion based on their exploration of Led Zeppelin. Performed live at the Epiphany Center for the Arts, upstairs Sanctuary Space, Chicago, IL. Zeppelin song selection includes: IMMIGRANT SONG DANCING DAYS ROCK AND ROLL MISTY MOUNTAIN HOP BLACK DOG WHOLE LOTTA LOVE THE RAIN SONG KASHMIR STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN 2 additional encores appear at the end of the performance, both free spontaneous compositions, the first untitled, but "full basement" style honoring the famous drummer Vincent Davis Free Jazz Basement Academy, and the second a ballad declared "Love Church" celebrating triumphant success of the Dan Zeppelin show but also the tender heartache at that exact moment in time as witnessed in the Sanctuary space of the church turned performing arts space.
