He has seen the sun rise and fall and every pleasure slip away; she does not deny it. The vanity you see is true — and still the rose blooms in the dust. The Unresolved is Elphemia's twelve-part dialogue between Ecclesiastes, Job and the Song of Songs. — Lyrics — I have seen the sun rise and fall I have tasted pleasure, held it all Yet in the end it slips away Like morning dew at break of day And still the rose blooms in the dust And still the heart can learn to trust The vanity you see is true But love can make all things new Under the sun, all is fleeting But love remains, love is worth repeating Though everything turns to dust and sand Love still holds us in her hand So let the wind blow where it will I will hold the flame that love instills An AI-generated music project released under licence from Græy Witness. #Elphemia #TheUnresolved #Ecclesiastes #BookOfJob #SongOfSongs #GraeyWitness
