The Voice of the Beloved, Song of Songs 2, 7–8, The Unresolved, Elphemia, Ancient Wisdom, Symphonic Metal, Græy Witness After the darkness, a new voice: the Beloved has heard the cry in the night. The world is fleeting and the pain is real, but love burns as strong as death. Come, my beloved — there is a garden still. The Unresolved is Elphemia's twelve-part dialogue between Ecclesiastes, Job and the Song of Songs. — Lyrics — I have heard your cry in the night I have seen the tears you try to hide The world is fleeting, the pain is real But love still burns, as strong as death Come, my beloved, rise and see There is a garden still for thee Though all is vanity under the sun My love remains when all is done Not by strength, nor by might But by the quiet flame of love's own light I am the rose, I am the lily fair I am the song that meets you there In the winter of the soul, when hope seems gone Remember — love still carries on Come, my beloved, rise and see There is a garden still for thee Though all is vanity under the sun My love remains when all is done Come, my beloved, come An AI-generated music project released under licence from Græy Witness. #Elphemia #TheUnresolved #Ecclesiastes #BookOfJob #SongOfSongs #GraeyWitness
