"Declare Jamnagar Drought-Hit": Farmers Stage Unique Protest, Burn Crop Residue Amid Dry Spell

Farmers in Jamnagar staged a unique protest due to a prolonged dry spell, burning their ruined crops in Theba village. After removing the failed crops from their fields, the farmers set them on fire and performed an symbolic mourning ritual (uthmanum) directly in the fields to express their despair. They are demanding that the Jamnagar district be declared drought-affected, while also urging the authorities to waive crop loans and make proper arrangements for cattle fodder. #Monsoon #Monsoon2026 #WeatherForecast #AmbalalPatel #WeatherUpdate #WeatherNews #GujaratWeather #WeatherLive #WeatherNews Stay connected with us on social media platforms: Subscribe us on YouTube https://goo.gl/5v9imZ Like us on Facebook:   / zee24kalak.in   Follow us on Twitter:   / zee24kalak   You can also visit us at: http://zeenews.india.com/gujarati Watch ZEE 24 KALAK LIVE for the latest Gujarati news, Gujarat breaking news, Ahmedabad news, live updates and major developments from Gujarat, India and around the world.
