A Second Home for the Whole Family: Creative Steps Early Childhood Center

At University Settlement’s Creative Steps Early Childhood Center in Greenwich Village, children ages 10 months to 4 years learn, play, and grow in a nurturing environment that builds on their natural curiosity. Through play-based learning, engaging enrichment activities, and individualized support, children develop important social, emotional, and developmental skills. With a strong emphasis on family partnerships and additional support through University Settlement’s Butterflies program, Creative Steps is a place where children and their families can build lasting relationships and thrive together. Hear from Program Director Alice James, Assistant Teacher Candice Rodriguez, and parents Chantalle and Emily about what makes Creative Steps such a special place for their families.
