Fixing the Felo Wobble! 🛠️ Custom Felo Smart T-Handle x Wiha 7148C Mod

The factory Felo Smart handle is brilliant, but we needed absolute zero wobble for heavy-duty tasks. A massive shoutout to my good friend Sasha for the brilliant idea and ongoing support that pushed this build into reality! 🍻 This one’s for you. About this build: The factory ball detent in the Felo handle is great for quick changes, but it introduces too much axial play when you need absolute precision. To solve this, we custom-machined a 2.5mm hole into the metal collar and tapped an M3 thread. By installing a high-strength 3mm set screw, we mechanically lock the Wiha 7148C chuck directly into the shaft. The result? A rock-solid, zero-runout front end that can handle massive torque in T-Handle mode without ever slipping. The best part? It’s 100% reversible. Just back out the M3 screw with a 1.5mm hex key, and the handle returns to its factory state.
