At the same time, the Election Commission of India has announced a series of reforms. Meeting agendas will be circulated. Minutes will be recorded. ECINet will be reviewed. Some voters affected by the SIR will get additional assistance. But why are these safeguards being announced now? What happened during the months when two Election Commissioners recorded objections?
